Sumy State University scientists were given opportunity for dissemination of the Open Science paradigm and education by supporting EU project «Open since and education in Europe: success stories for Ukrainian academic community», which is co-funded by the European Education and Culture Executive Agency in the category Jean Monnet Modules of Erasmus+ programme.

The project aims to establish a network of Open Science principles providers in different regions of Ukraine. The main idea is to form a new paradigm for using open informational resources based on the best EU practices and help to enter into the European educational and scientific community, which is actively involved in the various projects in academic community.

There are plans to organize a series of webinars “Open innovational space: from knowledge generation to innovation transfer”, winter school” Open science in education and research: the best EU practice”, roundtable debate “ Fist steps in paradigm of using open informational resources: EU experience for Ukraine”, along with other education activities as part of the project.
